GAMSAT is a professionally designed and marked selection test developed by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) for medical schools offering graduate-entry programmes open to graduates of any discipline. 

You will need to sit GAMSAT Ireland if you intend to apply for 2010 entry into one of the following programmes:

In the event of other programmes being approved for graduate-entry to medicine in 2010, these will also require GAMSAT Ireland. Candidates should constantly monitor this website and the website of the Central Applications Office (CAO) for any announcements.

Provisional Registration

If you do not have a credit card or do not wish to pay by credit card you can complete a provisional registration.  To do so you need to complete your details online as you would if you were paying by credit card.  When you get to the payment method please select Postal draft or Bank draft.

Test Centres

GAMSAT Ireland 2010 test centres will be located in Dublin, Cork, and Limerick.

A small number of overseas testing centres are provided to cater for international candidates and Irish citizens/residents living overseas.  They will be located in London, and Melbourne Australia.  An overseas testing levy of €50 will apply for centres outside of Ireland, in addition to the registration fee.

There is also the possibility that applicants may be able to sit GAMSAT Ireland in Singapore or Washington DC.  Places in these centres are limited and are in no way guaranteed.  All interested people should contact the GAMSAT Ireland Office via email  This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to enquire about availability.
